UPDATE November 2021 - You helped us in Building Hope. Now, we’re… BUILDING HOME!

We did it! The papers have been signed and the keys are in hand. Now it’s time to get our new home base ready for our dogs. As you may know, finding a new kennel space was the dying wish of our beloved founder, Linda Schiller. And it couldn’t be just any space—it had to be just right: Clean, roomy runs for the dogs, lots of outdoor to play, run, and walk, and ample spaces for vetting and meet and greets.

We couldn’t have closed on Waggin Tails without your generous donations. But we’re not done yet—now it’s time to make a few adjustments and furnish our new space so our furry friends can come live in their new home! We still need so much help!

For the last ten years, Eleventh Hour Rescue has been renting a location which is home to over forty dogs & cats at any given time, as well as the home base for vetting & intake of new animals. The property has been sold and we were thrust into finding a new permanent home, a home that will ensure our continued presence into the future and one that provides a safe haven for dogs and cats who are on their way to FURever homes. Eleventh Hour Animal Rescue, has formally entered into a definitive agreement to purchase an existing kennel at 75 Flanders Rd., Flanders, NJ, the current location of Waggin Tail Kennels.  Our goal is to continue the legacy of love that our founder, Linda Schiller, has worked so tirelessly for over the last 17 years.  Your donation today will go directly to our Building Hope campaign. Your generosity and continued support are the reasons we are Building Hope!

Linda Schiller. The 11th Hour Animal Rescue, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in 2004 by Linda Schiller. Her passion for animals and strong moral compass led to the growth of the organization to well over 500 volunteers and partners across multiple states and countries. To date, the efforts of those volunteers and partners under Linda’s leadership have resulted in over 40,000 lives saved. In late October of 2020, days after signing the agreement to purchase Waggin Tails, Linda passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Eleventh Hour Rescue purchasing a permanent home will ensure her life’s passion will continue for years and years to come, until all of the cages are empty.
