Scout is friendly with everyone he meets and does well with kids, though older children are best since he can still be a little mouthy when excited. What Scout really wants is to be part of a family where he’s allowed to cuddle on the couch or snuggle up in bed — he thrives on being close to his people.

He enjoys playing with other dogs, is respectful of cats, and would also be content as the only pet as long as he gets plenty of human attention. Scout is crate trained and will go in willingly at mealtimes, but he may bark or whine if he’s crated while people are home. He’s smart, affectionate, and full of potential.
