Holly and her sister Dolly spent their early months surviving on the streets of Albania before being rescued and placed in a shelter. For three long years, Holly waited patiently for a family of her own—something heartbreakingly rare in her home country, where adoptive homes are scarce. That’s why we knew we had to step in and give her the second chance she deserves. Now in the U.S., Holly is flourishing in a foster home. She’s affectionate, calm, and gets along beautifully with people, dogs, and even cats. She’s housebroken, has excellent house manners, and seems to understand whatever you ask of her. While she’s still a bit shy at times, Holly truly shines in the company of another friendly dog. A confident canine sibling will help her continue to come out of her shell and feel safe as she learns the joys of home life. Holly can be adopted on her own or with her beloved sister Dolly.
