Meet Reese! Reese is a handsome guy who finds himself at our kennel after being returned by the family who adopted him as a puppy. They truly loved him, but believed he needed a quieter living situation than they could provide with their growing family.

When Reese was first returned, he was cautious and needed time to warm up to new people. He has flourished in his time at the kennel, though, and is a volunteer and staff favorite- having made many friends! Reese does still need slow introductions to new people, but is worth the time you put in earning his trust. He lived with another dog and seems to enjoy the company of most dogs that he has met at the kennel. He goes on weekly pack walks with other dogs and has a blast playing in our kennel play yards. Reese loves to run and play!

Reese knows basic obedience commands like sit, watch me, paw, and down. He is a dog who would be great as a walking or hiking partner as he loves to be active and outside. He even enjoys swimming!

Reese is non-destructive in the home, house trained, and has no resource guarding issues. He loves to snuggle in bed at night and thinks he is a big lap dog! Reese can be protective in the home, so it would be best if he is slowly introduced to visitors or is put away when people come to visit.

Won't you give this handsome boy a chance? His smile will light up every day with him as your adopted pal!

If you would like to meet Reese, please fill out an application and be sure to mention his name, REESE STEELE!
