Phoenix is waiting and longing for a second chance at finding his forever home.  Phoenix was adopted as a puppy and lived happily with his family for four years until, through no fault of his own, he was surrendered by his owner because they decided to move into an apartment that does not allow dogs, so Phoenix found himself back at 11th Hour once again.  He would love to live in a home with a person or family for him to love again.

Phoenix is a beautiful, loyal, obedient and loving dog who bonds easily with people.  He is good with all adults, housetrained and is fine when crated. He loves to go for car rides, walks in the park, play with toys or a nice game of “Fetch”. He loves to receive affection and to have his tummy rubbed. He is eager to please and even knows a few commands like “paw” and “sit”.  Phoenix does well on pack walks and when around other dogs.  He grew up as the only dog in the house but may do well with another dog or dogs after a proper introduction.  If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate companion please consider completing an application for him and be sure to ask for Phoenix!

Phoenix is  non-reactive to other dogs and may do will with another dog after a proper introduction, good with adults, loves the car, crate-trained, loves to go for walks in the park and for dips in the pond, obedient, loyal, affectionate, eager to please and very intelligent.

Although he does well with meeting children, he should not be homed with them as he requires consistent structure in his home. He needs a strong leader who is willing to provide and maintain boundaries for him in your house :)
