Lily is a beautiful 2-year-old, 50 lb yellow Lab mix who came to us from a shelter in Georgia. She arrived with quite the crew — seven other dogs and a litter of six young puppies — but through it all Lily has remained the happiest, sweetest girl.

Lily absolutely loves people and is full of joyful energy. She’s the kind of dog who greets you with enthusiasm and plenty of hugs. Yes, Lily is a big hugger! She can be a little bouncy at first because she’s just so excited to see you, but she does know “down,” and once she’s had a chance to burn off some of that happy energy she settles in nicely.

She already knows how to sit and lie down for treats and lights up when she’s praised. Lily is eager to please and clearly loves learning and interacting with her people. She also plays well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around.

Lily is a loving, affectionate girl who would make a wonderful best friend for someone looking for a happy, loyal companion.

She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines, and she’s ready to find the forever home she deserves.
