Olive’s story began when she and a companion wandered up to the gate of one of our foster homes looking for help. Though the two were very attached, we knew Olive would benefit from some time on her own so she could build confidence and learn that the world is a safe place.

Vet estimated her at about 8 months and weighs 40 pounds, Olive is a sweet, gentle girl who truly wants to make her people happy. She has a natural desire to please and is already doing great with her leash training. Her foster family says she’s been a wonderful student and enjoys getting out for neighborhood walks.

Olive is currently living in a foster home with another dog and is doing well. She even strolls past the neighbors’ cats on walks and doesn’t seem bothered by them.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but Olive warms up quickly once she realizes she’s safe. With a little patience and love, her sweet personality really shines through.

Olive would thrive in a home that will continue building her confidence and showing her how wonderful life as a beloved family member can be. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who just wants to love and be loved, Olive might be your girl.
