Casey’s story is a simple one, and it’ll hit you right in the heart. She was surrendered to a rural Tennessee shelter after an older woman’s dog had an unexpected litter. One by one, Casey’s siblings were adopted… but Casey was the puppy left behind, waiting and watching as everyone else went home. When the shelter manager reached out to Eleventh Hour Rescue to give Casey the chance that small shelter couldn’t, we said yes—no question. Now Casey is in New Jersey, ready for her fresh start and the family she’s been waiting for.
