Goose is a 2-year-old, 50 lb sweetheart with the most adorable ears you’ve ever seen — sometimes horizontal, sometimes vertical, and sometimes one of each. They perfectly match his goofy, endearing personality.

Goose was happy to explore the interaction pen, carefully checking out all the scents before coming over with a look that clearly said, “Okay… now what?” While balls didn’t quite spark his interest, treats absolutely did. He loved catching them and quickly decided that retrieving tossed treats was the best game ever, eagerly coming back for more each time.

According to his former owner, Goose lived as an indoor dog and is crate trained. He does well with other dogs and with children. He has been known to chew on things he shouldn’t, so he’ll benefit from plenty of appropriate chew toys and some guidance on what’s fair game — and what’s not. Goose is a smart boy who’s ready to learn and eager to please.

Goose is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, and he’s looking for a home that will appreciate his quirky ears, gentle nature, and clever mind.
