Holmes was tied up in the back of an old pick-up truck by a man (possibly his owner) who dumped him at a rural animal control. This boy had been severely neglected as he was missing hair and was very thin. He has received treatment from a local vet and he looks much better. Holmes is going to be a curly longer haired dog when his hair grows back and will have a scruffy face. He has been shaved down because he was such a mess but the vet office said he was an Irish Wolfhound mix. Holmes is around 4-5 years old and weighs around 55 pounds.

Holmes is a very kind and sweet dog and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He LOVES people almost as much as he loves peanut butter. He has learned to walk nicely on a leash and is now housebroken...Everyone that meets Holmes falls in love with him. He is now neutered and fully vetted. This boy is going to make a wonderful family pet.
