Hi, I’m Camila. I’m 4 years old, and weigh a perfect 26 lbs on my lowriding frame. I’m learning what hope feels like again. I used to have a person I loved deeply. We had a good life together — warm, safe, full of trust. But when my beloved owner passed away, everything changed. For a long time after, I was just… forgotten. Me and my pup were locked in a room for hours on end, then left outside to figure life out on our own. No one saw us. No one heard us. Until someone finally did. The kind humans at 11th Hour Rescue scooped me up, got me the care I needed, and helped my pup find a forever home. Now it’s my turn.

I may be cautious, but here’s what I want you to know: once I feel safe with you, I’m incredibly affectionate and loyal. I’ll curl up in your lap, nuzzle into your chest, and stay there as long as you’ll let me. I’m gentle, sweet, and I’ll give you my whole heart—but I need time to know I can trust you. I get startled easily and might bark or rush toward things that worry me—but I’m not trying to be tough; I’m just trying to protect the little peace I’ve found. I prefer a home with no young kids, no chaos, no loud surprises — just peace, please. Maybe a doggy friend or two, but mostly… I just want you. 

I’m house trained, leash trained, and ride nicely in the car (and love a good road trip!). I’m playful and even a little goofy when I’m comfortable. I adore my toys and love little zoomies in the yard. I’m resilient, and still full of love to give. I’ll need a kind, confident human to help guide me — to show me what boundaries are with love, not fear. Someone who sees that beneath this cautious little bulldog is a loyal heart that just wants to belong again.
