Lolly is about 3 years old and 48 lbs. She and her brother, Rocket, were found abandoned in an apartment, emaciated (see her last picture). We spent some time putting weight on them and she is now ready for the FURever home!!

From her Foster: “Lolly is house-trained and crate-trained and loves playing with her 3 foster brothers! She would do well in a home with another dog or dogs but would also do well as the only dog in the home (she REALLY loves people – she hasn’t met a stranger yet!) When she’s not snuggled up in our laps or running around/playing in the yard, she’s happily chewing on a bone or hanging out with her Lamb Chop! Lolly LOVES to wear sweaters and she’s amassed quite the winter wardrobe (see pictures below)! When Lolly was first rescued, she was emaciated and couldn’t stand being outside in the cold for too long, which is when we started dressing her in warm sweaters. She’s gained all the weight back and still hates being outside in the cold, so the sweaters are here to stay! She’s a total snuggle bug and is down to chill and cuddle on your lap all day but she’s also ready to go on a walk or play with you at any moment. Really, she just wants to be wherever you are! When she gets excited and happy, she makes the silliest noises I’ve ever heard from a dog, and you just can’t help but smile and laugh.

Lolly knows sit and paw and she often likes to give you both paws at once! She also knows wait and we practice every time we put her food down. Lolly is HIGHLY food motivated and is intelligent, and I believe she’d learn new commands and tricks quickly. She does well on leash, but she does get a little over excited and can pull.

Lolly is struggling with some allergies at the moment which has affected the appearance of her fur but she’s not bothered by it and continues to be her goofy, wonderful, loving self!

Lolly likes toys, she is playful, affectionate, eager to please, intelligent, even-tempered, gentle, and goofy.”
