Cane is a young Shepherd/Boxer mix boy who loves to play ball and loves to run. He has lots of energy and the softest fur! He was born on 4/4/2023 and weighs 50-60 lbs. Cane loves hugs and kisses...and to dance with you if allowed! He has such a sweet personality.

Cane is good with all size kids but because he's a big boy, he needs to be careful with little ones. His original owners had a 2-year-old and 6-year-old and teenagers who Cane loved but due to the youngest child's asthma issues, the family cannot keep him.  A family friend is helping the family find a new safe and loving home for this big puppy. The family just took him to the vet to make sure he is up to date on all his vaccines, too!

Although he's a big boy, Cane has puppy behaviors which means he has a lot of energy and loves to chew and run and be active. He is looking for a home with dog-savvy people who understand that puppies need training and room to run. He’s housebroken on wee wee pads at home. His original owner had him in an apartment in the Bronx so it’s all he learned. Cane's current owners do take him out for bathroom breaks and are working on Cane's housetraining. This boy is good on a leash and has been crated. He also is good with dogs and when met a friend's cat, he did just fine.
