My name is Duffy.  The first thing you need to know about me is that I LOVE getting belly rubs.  I am also super sweet.  When you approach my run at the kennel I sit patiently waiting with my tail wagging hoping that you are coming to play with me.  My life hasn’t always been so easy though.  I was found with a collar embedded in my neck L.  Luckily my sweet nature made the shelter staff fall in love with me and they saved me by getting me fully vetted and paying for boarding until 11^th Hour could step in and take care of me. 

I am eager to please and pretty darn smart (if I do say so myself).  I have been living in the kennel for about a year now so I’m not quite housebroken but I do know the command for sit.  I need some work on my leash manners, especially if I see other dogs while walking.  While I do have a few 4-legged friends at the kennel it would be best if I was the only pet in the home.
