Jacquemo is a young little guy around 2 years old who is just adorable. He can be nervous when he first meets a stranger but he becomes your best friend by the next day & wants to snuggle with you.
Jacquemo will "Sit" for treats and he loves to be near you or sitting on your lap. Because he can be nervous initially, a home without very young children would probably be best.
If you think that Jacquemo would be a welcome addition to your family, please fill out an Adoption Application & arrange to meet him. He would love to be in a home of his own. He has guarding issues with toys and people he loves so he needs a dog savvy home where his person will keep him safe.
Update from his foster: I have fallen in love with this guy and considering the rough start he and i had this is saying something!
The first day he arrived at my house he bit me. It was just my finger tip but it was still a nasty bite. Over the next few days we were very cautious around each other. I guess I was afraid of getting bit again so I basically ignored him just interacting when I had to...feeding him and letting him out to go to the bathroom was the extent of my interaction with him. Something happened during that first week...Jacquemo decided I was okay and was dying for attention and trying to get me to hold him and pet him. I slowly started giving him attention and within a few days he showed me that he could be trusted. It has been over a month now and I can do anything I wish to him and he accepts it. We hang out on the sofa and watch movies together, he lets me throw him in the sink for a bath and he shares his favorite stuffed toy with me. He loves being with me and I know with the right situation and the right family he would become the love of their life and they would become the center of his world. I love this little guy and I hope and pray that someone will see what I see in him and give him a chance.
