Gretchen and her 6 littermates were picked up as strays and taken to a kill shelter. All of her siblings were adopted, leaving this poor girl behind with her time running out. She has now been rescued and placed in a foster home, waiting to make the trip to NJ to find a home. Gretchen is on the smaller side at 26 pounds and is around one year old.

Gretchen is very sweet natured and gets along great with other dogs and people. She is living with a cat in her foster home and Gretchen sleeps on the bed with both the cat & dog in the home. She is housetrained, too, and hasn't had any accidents in her foster home! She is also fine when left alone in the house & doesn't touch anything she shouldn't.
